Provenance & Forge was created around a simple idea: the most memorable products are rarely the most ordinary. They are the ones with a sense of place, a story behind them and people who care deeply about how they are made.
The Beginning
Where it began
The idea began with discovering J.Rose Gin in Italy. What stood out immediately was not only the quality of the spirit, but the craftsmanship, presentation and personality behind it. It felt genuinely distinctive — the kind of product that deserved to be represented thoughtfully in the UK. That discovery helped shape Provenance & Forge.
What we look for
We are deliberately selective. We look for specialist makers and producers whose products combine genuine provenance, craftsmanship, thoughtful design and real character. We are not interested in building a huge catalogue of generic products — only in finding things we believe are genuinely worth discovering.
The Collection
Beyond spirits
Spirits are where the journey began, but Provenance & Forge is broader than any one category. Our search is already extending into specialist live-fire cooking equipment and other distinctive products from exceptional makers around the world.
How we work
We want to build long-term relationships directly with makers, understand their story properly and represent their products in the UK with the same care and attention they put into creating them.
